We use cookies to make this site work, to understand how visitors use it, and to remember your preferences between visits. This page explains what cookies we use and how to control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device when you visit them. They let the site remember things — like that you're logged in, or what's in your basket — between page loads. Most sites use them; most browsers accept them by default.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the site to function. Without them you couldn't log in, complete a booking, or keep an item in your basket while you browse.
- Session cookie (typically named
laravel_sessionor similar) — keeps you signed in and identifies your browser across page loads. - CSRF token (
XSRF-TOKEN) — prevents cross-site request forgery on forms. - Basket cookie — remembers items in your basket between visits if you haven't created an account.
These cookies expire when you close your browser or, in the basket's case, after 30 days of inactivity. They contain no personal information and cannot be used to identify you outside our service.
Analytics cookies
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages visitors look at, which devices are most popular, and where in the booking flow people drop off. This helps us improve the product.
Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised — we don't see individual visitors' identities. Google may retain some logs for up to 14 months; you can read their policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can decline analytics cookies on first visit via our cookie banner, or change your choice at any time using the link at the bottom of every page.
Third-party cookies
A small number of third-party services we use set their own cookies when their content is loaded on our site:
- Stripe — when you're asked to pay a return fee, Stripe loads its checkout iframe and may set fraud-prevention cookies. These are essential for the payment to work.
- YouTube / Vimeo — if we embed a video on the site (e.g. a how-it-works walkthrough), the video provider may set cookies. We use "privacy-enhanced" embed modes where available so these cookies are only set if you press play.
We do not use Facebook, Twitter, TikTok or any other social-media tracking cookies.
How to control cookies
You can change your cookie choices for our site at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. We respect Do Not Track headers — if your browser sends DNT, we treat that as a decline of analytics cookies.
You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Each browser handles this differently — search "manage cookies in [your browser]" for instructions. Be aware that disabling all cookies will break the booking flow.
Changes to this policy
If we add new tracking or change a third-party service that sets cookies, we'll update this page and refresh the cookie banner so existing visitors are asked to renew their choice. The date at the bottom of this page shows when it was last revised.
